City of Johannesburg features in top 100

In the week, Euromonitor released the Top 100 Cities Destination Ranking for 2015, which ranks leading cities in terms of international tourist arrivals. Overall, top cities performed well with a 5.5% total growth from 2014. Hong Kong maintained top spot with 26.7 million international visitors in 2015, followed by Bankgok and London with 18.7 and 18.5 million respectively.

Closer to home, Johannesburg was the ONLY sub-Sahara African city to feature in the top 100 report, ranking in at 37th place andgrowing 2% in 2015, with 4.9 million international visitors.
